For Honor (Starter Edition) for free on Uplay until 18th of June

Thanks, Nimzo, downloading now ... all 52GB of it

I watched a few streamers playing it on release but it seemed to die pretty quickly. Worth having a look at for free though, seemed like an interesting variation on fighting games.

One game I've been playing a lot of recently is Ironsight, a free-to-play FPS that reminds me of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 multiplayer. Small teams, fast paced, modern guns and some nice killstreak perks. Recently went into open beta, there are still plenty of issues to sort out such as the netcode meaning you get killed after running around a corner sometimes but it shows more promise than a lot of f2p shooters.

If you want to try something completely different.... Doki Doki Literature CLub is free on steam. It is a cross between a graphic novel/game which means lots of clicking which just changes lines of text.

Oh and it is classified as psychological horror so it is not for sensitive people.

You are a Japanese boy (i guess). You like Manga and don't want to join any school club but your neighbour Sayori invites you and there are more nice girls there. You will get to know them and then you start writing and reading poetry.

I actually like literature and poetry any way so that was a plus for me. The girls deliver some interesting (and nicely contrasting) poetry along the way.

You can not really compose your poem, you just pick words which interact with the female characters. I still picked words so they more or less coherent sentences which spread the love and thus changed the first playthrough.

Any way soon the festival day arrives and that is where the first death occurs. And then shit gets really gamey. Can't tell to much about the ending(s) but there are some interesting scenes in there including one where...we need a spoiler i guess.

Spoiler:
At some point Monika is have a passionate dialogue but at some point she switched from my IGN to my proper first name (which she probably got from windows) that was a really neat trick.

This game is interesting and thought provoking and obviously good value for money. :trl
